ultra shortcuts- grumble volcano

This is a guide on how to do the Grumble volcano ultra shortcut if you don’t already know how to do it. If you do know how, read this anyway, and correct me if I’m wrong.

Before you start the shortcut you have to do a few things first. One of the main things is choosing the right character class and bike. I would recommend using a light and small bike for high acceleration; you could also use a medium classed bike if you wanted to go slow but smoothly. I usually use baby Mario on the Nano bike but you can use whatever you want to.

When you first start

off drive up to the starting line then turn around by

holding a + b and turning. Then you have to aim for the lowest point of the mountain on the left side of the track. When you are aligned with the lowest point, use a mushroom.

Depending on the type of bike you are using you might have to jump on the hill by pressing b when you use your

mushroom. Remember timing is essential.

You must jump right on top of the tiny hill indicated. If

you don’t get it the first time, try and try again.

Some times the only way to eventually get it is by doing it for hours straight

but that’s why this guide is here! To lower the amount of time it takes you to do it.

When you have made it onto the mountain

hill thing, make sure you keep towards the edge of the mountain otherwise the lap count won’t work. Also make sure that you don’t fall of the edge. That would be a bit frustrating!

The first time you do it you don’t have to go as fast as you can, take your time. Then when you have done it a couple of times you can improve.

When you are on your last lap use your last mushrooms in front of the finish line, to improve your lap time. Well then that’s pretty much how to do that ultra short cut!!!
