Hey, its me, Lightice

As promised, I will be bringing you short cuts on all 32 tracks!

I will be putting the shortcuts in over the next few days. We will also add pics.

Luigi Circuit: (Summary)

On this track, you can use a boost to go into the ramp in the sand on the left side of the track. You can also use a boost to go through the sand with the pipes in it on the right side towards the end of the lap.

Moo Moo Meadows:

You can boost through the grass on the part with the cows, and you can also use the boost from the large ramp the let you go through the grass near the end of the track.

Mushroom Gorge:

Shortcuts: There is, of course, the Ultra Shortcut on this track. However, if you are unable to do this, you can boost through the grass when you come out of the cave or you can jump over the hole/ cliff by using a boost and wheeling. Remember, in the cave, always use the mushrooms to the right. At the beggining of the lap, if you have a boost, you can jump onto the red mushroom on the left, do a trick, land on the next mushroom, do another trick, and land back on the course, saving a few seconds.

Toad's Factory:

Always go with the tracks that have green arrows. When you come out of the factory, if you have a boost, don't do a trick on the ramp. Boost when you get down and do a trick on the dirt piles and, if done correctly, you can jump over the pool of water (But this is an Ultra shortcut). So near the end of the track, try do drive on the 2 "boosts" pads so that you don't get stuck in the mud and for the shortcut, use your boost after the second "boost" pad's boost effects stops and avoid the ramp so you can cut time without being in the air!

Mario Circuit:

Shortcut: On this track, as you are approaching the Chain Chomp, you will see a ramp. Use a boost to go through the sand and do a trick on the ramp to land near the tunnel. Near the end, you can also boost through the grass on the left

Coconut Mall:

Shortcut: Always go up the up escalator. After you go up the first escalator, on your right, there will be a store that you can go through. Make sure that you use a boost because this counts as off-road. After you have gone past the part with the two trees and fountain that can be used as ramps and you have gone around the corner, go to your left to find a secret passage. use this to save some time.

DK's Snowboard Cross:

Shortcut: OK, first, after the part with the three small snow piles and the large ramp, you can boost through the snow drifts. shortly after that, you can boost over a canyon to your right and after that another one that should be straight ahead of you or to your right. Then, you can boost through the snow drifts ahead, or, if you go in a straight line on the blue ramp/ boosts on the sides, they can be used as very long boost pads.

Wario's Goldmine:

Shortcut: Another Ultra Shortcut track. If you are finding it to difficult, here are a couple of things you can do. First, on the corner before the mine entrance, there is a small ramp to your right. Use it to cut the corner and save time. Then, inside the mines, you will see a cart track. Avoiding the carts, follow the track into a cave with boost pads that will take you out of the mines quickly. Remember, try to avoid the bats.

Daisy Circuit:

Shortcut: On this track, after you turn sharply to your right at the beinging, you will see a staircase. Go up it and use the boost pads to do a trick when you come out. The staircase is off-road so it is advised that you use a boost or a good off-road kart/ bike. Later, after you come out of the tunnel you will see a sidewalk. If you are in a race or a Grand Prix, you should use it because it will prevent Red& Green Shells from getting you. Remember, hitting traffic cones slows you down.

Koopa Cape:

Shortcut: On this track, shortly after you start, you will see a patch of grass with Goombas around it. Boost through to save some time. Then just after you have gotten to the part with the water, you can boost through the grass on your left or you can take the left turn, and then boost through the grass on your right.

Maple Treeway:

Shortcut: When you start, immediatly turn to your right and you will find a hidden path. The begining of this path is off-road, so you should use a boost. Later, after you have gone across the wired bridge, to your sharp left and right there are two paths that take you into the trees. Use the boost pad at the end of either path to do a trick.

Grumble Volcano:

Shortcut: This course has the last Ultra Shortcut. But for those of you who don't know how to do it, or just don't want to, there are afew other tricks too. When in the cave, always take the upper route. Later, at the part where fireball are crashing all around you, if you go to the top of one of the hills with the boosts on the end, face the lava, boost and wheely, you jump over the lava, hit a rock, and land on the other side of the lava. At the part where the road splits and both roads go around the mountain, take the left.

Dry Dry Ruins:

Shortcut: OK, this one has a few. First of all, remember that you can use fallen pillars to do small tricks on and gain speed. After turning right at the beginning, if you look to your right you will see a gap between a cactus and a rock near the next corner. Use a boost to go through the gap without losing speed. Right after that look to the left side of the oasis. After the second lap, a pillar in this sandy area will fall. Boost through the sand and do a trick on the pillar, and you will land back on the trick, saving a lot of time. Later, inside the pyramid, you can boost through the sand were both the blue wall ramps are and the spiky ball creatures are are. Last of all, after you have exited the pyramid, near the finish line, there is another gap between a rock and a cactus. Boost through to save time. Remember that the pillars have not fallen at the beginning of the race, and all fall at different times.

Moonview Highway:

Shortcut: Near the beginning of this track, there are sloped walls. On the right one there are item boxes and a boost ramp. Later, at the first toll booth, go to your left. All the boosts on the next piece of road are in a line from left to right. Go on them to save time.

Bowser's Castle: At the part where the floor is going up and down, you can do tricks on the parts of the track that are in the air. Then, at the part when the giant robo-Bowser is shotting fireballs at you, you can boost through the mud at the middle of the road, then do a trick on the small ramp at the next mud strip. Near the end you can do tricks of the lava geysers (but try not to hit the lava).

Shortcut:

Rainbow Road: First of all, you can do tricks on the two holes that are at one point in the track. Just after that, the road goes slightly right, the sharply left. you can jump the gap by boosting and then wheelying, and hopefully you will land on the other side on the track.

Shortcut:

Retro Cups:

Shell Cup:

GCN Peach Beach: As you are aproaching the first corner, you will notice a ship and some containers. Behind these containers is a boost ramp. Use it to quickly go to the left side of a small inlet. You may find that the tide is in, and the water will slow you down, so use a boost to avoid this.

DS Yoshi Falls: On this course, as the name suggests, you will encounter several waterfalls that will sweep you off the course. To avoid this, and slowing down, boost through, or otherwise avoid them.

SNES Ghost Valley 2: Do a trick or wheelie over the small ramp that is after the third corner. Remember: the walls on the edges of the track fall if you hit them.

N64 Mario Raceway: This one has a few. First, you can boost through the grass on the hill. Then you can boost through the grass to your right just before the tower. Right after this is a large ramp. You can boost again and use it. Later, there is a large corner. Cut the corner by boosting through the sand to save time. Just before you come out of the pipe, go to either side of it. The edges at the end of the pipe can be used as small ramps to boost your speed.

Banana Cup:

N64 Sherbert Land: Some of the corners of this track can be boosted over. Before you enter the cave, if you go behind a rock, you will find a boost ramp and two item boxes. Inside the cave, there are several penguins waddling around. Avoid touching them because doing so will cause you to spin out.

GBA Shy Guy Beach: Going into the swallow water will cause you to slow down, and going into deep water will cause you to drown. At one point, there is a patch of grass that you can boost through, and after that is some water and a small island with an item box on it, that can be boosted through as well. As you are nearing the finish line, stay left. It is advised that you use a good offroad kart or bike for this course.

DS Delfino Square: After you have come out of the alley, turn left sharply. Use a boost when you get to the grass. With the help of the ramp, you should make it across the water. Alternatively, you could go across the bridge, turned left, then turned right into a small alley, and used a boost to avoid slowing down or having to go around the buildings. After the next bridge, the road swerves left and then right. Boost through the grass to save time.

GCN Waluigi Stadium: The small hills of dirt on this course can be boosted over. Past the second corner is a boost ramp with fire balls circling it. Boosting around the ramp saves time. Then, after the second boost ramp, the road goes right the sharply left. Use a boost to go through the mud to save time. Then, three more turns after this, you encounter more mud. Boost through to save time.
